We need staff members. With Gretchen leaving & Brandi overworked we need help desperately. Pray that God will touch the hearts of someone who is called of God & wants to   help.

The elementary school will be participating in a basketball tournament by age groups.

Romans 1:21 says, “…they glorified not God, neither were they thankful”. God gave up on them because they did not acknowledge Him as God and they were not thankful. In gratitude is a sin and it is one of the easiest sins for all of us to commit.

Ephesians 5:20 says, “Giving thanks always”. Psalm 30:12 says, “I will give thanks forever”. We have so much to be thankful for. God has blessed all of us and we need to acknowledge what He ha done. The Bible is filled with suggestions as to what we can thank God for.

Psalm 106:1 “We should thank God for His goodness. Oh, how kind God is to us. He never gives us what we truly deserve. He loves us so much. He gives us air and water. We live in a country where we can get air-conditioning, food, books and have freedoms few other people have on this earth. He has given me a wonderful wife, 9 adopted children and hundreds of other children to love on.

We should thank God for one another. I Corinthians 1:4 “I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given unto you”. When I look back at my life there are literally thousands of people to whom I owe gratitude. So many people have helped Casa to provide a godly life for 5700 children. There have been family members and friends throughout the years that were there for me when I needed a hand or a shoulder to cry on.

Prayer Requests

A team from California replaced toilets in our dorm.  Let me tell you, it was needed.  With the number of boys in our dorms these past almost eight years, they got used a lot!  We are very appreciative of the Lord for sending this team here to serve.

Eight members of a visiting team from Texas and four of our boys picked up something that’s made them ill, so they are confined to their quarters.  Please pray for healing.  Jim and Kate are helping to monitor the boys in the blue building during dinner.  We are thankful our Lord placed them next door to help take care of the boys.

I would like to ask you for your prayers.  For me.  I’m in a rut and I’m not trying to get out.  I listened to a song by Mandisa called, “I’m still here.”  She sang…

Had me knocked to the ground
Had me down for the count
My faith a million miles away
And I dropped out of sight

This Overcomer, lost her
Will to fight

I felt this way today.  Then God sends me a devotional entitled, “Faith Never Quits.”  It reminded me that “True faith in God never gives up or quits, for it knows that God always has the final word.  Faith in God never quits because God never fails.  So we don’t have to give up even when circumstances look impossible.”

I am better, yet I can use your prayers.  Thank you.

All His,

Lee and Candy
