: We have so many friends in Texas and Louisiana who are suffering tremendously because of the rains as well as the hurricane. I have family in Port Aransas, Tx as well as in New Orleans & many points in between. All reports are that they are wet but okay.

A local school came today to visit our school and have an arts & craft day. Our kids had fun. It is important for our children to mix with children from the community.

When we get saved II Corinthians 5:17 says, “If any man be in Christ he is a new creature. Old things are passed away and behold all things are become new”. You will have a new attitude towards sin. You will hate it because your Father hates it. You will feel conviction and not condemnation when you fall.

You will have new desires and new friends. Old habits will be destroyed as you walk to please God. You will seek out those of like heart and mind. Your “want tos” will change drastically.

Matthew 7:20 will become your guide. “By their fruits you will know them”. He tells us the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness and self-control.

You will grow. A stagnated Christian will always be a spiritual baby. You will always be a taker and not a giver. You will always receive and never provide.

Salvation is Christ is sure. The Bible and the Holy Spirit tell us so. Our lives are changed by the transforming love of God.
