I am so blessed

I walked over to the lunch hall to see the children at breakfast. And every time I do that and look at the children, I am overcome with a deep joy that God chose me 35 years ago to come to Guatemala with the sole purpose of loving children, watching them grow up, know Christ and also build churches, Sunday school buildings and homes for pastors.

The older boys had soccer games yesterday and then finals today in Sumpango. Sunday afternoon they will have another game in San Bartolome. They love soccer as much as I love LSU.

I am so blessed. But I get tired. 90% of parenting is just thinking about when you can lie down again.
