Reschedule

It is such a shame and disappointment that my sister, Virginia, and her son Justin were unable to come for a long weekend. The Gulf coast is still snow and ice and her flight was cancelled. I miss her. She is trying to reschedule for next weekend.

e last time I saw her was over a year ago when I flew to Baton Rouge to stay with her and visit my sister, Charlotte, who was on her deathbed.

Virginia and I are what is left of five children. Ellis, Dalbert and Charlotte are no longer alive. Seeing Virginia would surely give me an emotional lift as my siblings were so special to me.

I have never missed the USA since coming here 36 years ago. But I have truly missed my sister and my children and grandchildren.

Today, Friday, Adela will take Michelle to the surgeon with the reports from Monday. If all is well the surgery will be soon.
