The Board

:The board is here: Ted, Mark, Estella, Me, Jessica, Dottie and Kristi.

We saw yesterday that giving is an action of love. The second thought that I have on giving is we give because of gratitude. We are thankful for His love and His mercy. Mercy is associated with forgiveness and kindness. We have the power to punish but we choose to forgive and show mercy. The word mercy comes from the Latin meaning “price paid”. That is what Christ did for us on the cross.

The Vencedores boys come nearly every day to pray for Dottie. Four pray out loud and they all hug her.

Dottie has this laughing attitude. No matter what hour she wakes up she begins laughing and I am talking about her awaking at 1 to 3 in the morning. I cannot get her back to sleep because she just laughs at me. She thinks I am playing with her. Of course, it sure is better than her having an angry attitude. She is precious.

The board came in and we had over 2 hours of stories and laughter.
