Why?

The plumbing is roughed in on all three floors of the Genesis House for dialysis. The walls are painted and look great. The little house being built for the family near us is coming up quickly. We have had a good half-week so far.

There was a large demonstration in the city so traffic was a mess. There have been over 1300 murders since January 1st & over 200 killed in bus crashes.

I have been weak the last 2 days so ask for your prayers.

Psalms 68:5-6 “I am the Father to the Fatherless”. These are the words of God—OUR FATHER!

200,000,000 orphans in the world and only 2,500,000 are being helped.

Think about what happened in the wilderness. All the fathers and husbands had died. Those asked to enter with Joshua were mostly orphans and widows. Yet God protected them and used them.

True religion cannot see a need and walk away. What was the sin of those who saw the man beaten, bleeding and having had everything stolen from them. Three of the four who passed walked away. You cannot walk away if you have the heart of God. If your heart is hard towards the poor, the orphan, the stranger and the widow then you do not have God’s heart.

You cannot substitute church services for getting involved.Too many people seem to be religious.

Luke 22:27 “I am among you as one who serves”. So if God has placed us here on tis eath, in this place and in this time why do you suppose He did that? TO SERVE!!
