1 + 1 = 1 (#2)

Today was the worst day that I have had since surgery. However it is not pain. It is just an absolute lack of strength. I am exhausted & cannot tell why. The pain is lessening each day.   As we began yesterday I shared that God has made us Spirit, Soul and Body. And a marriage that is based on only 1 or 2 of the three is destined to suffer. Physical oneness is God’s idea. Sex is a gift of God.  Sex is good in marriage. But as you know the world has taken tis wonderful gift of sex in marriage and perverted it. Mud is good in the pig pen. Mud is not good in the kitchen. Fire is good if you are warming your food. Fire is not good if it is consuming your house. Man has taken that which is good and perverted it making this beautiful gift of God to be filthy. Paul makes it very clear in I Corinthians 6 that if adultery is at your door or pornography or homosexuality FLEE from it! He tells us never to play around with sex. Sex is His gift to us and to use it in any way He has not authorized will lead to destruction. Sexual relationships outside of marriage will never end good. To expose yourself to sexual sin is to compromise your relationship with your spouse and with God Himself.   It sure would make things easier for Dottie and me if we had more places to visit when we go home in September. Plase pray about it.
