I preached Sunday morning and am paying for it big time. A number of children gave their lives to Christ so I did the right thing in preaching but recovery may be a day or two.

Alex, our 7th child in 1989, who is married to Sarah and are houseparents came after Bible with his not book & asked me to write in it because he had 3 YEARS of my Sunday morning preachings.

The disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray. They never asked Jesus to teach them to believe. But I have read over and over Jesus and His relationship with His disciples and He corrected them for their lack of faith more than any other item. I am sure you ralize that prayer is something we do but FAITH is something we are. And it is much easier to act than it is to BE.

As father to these children at Casa I am responsible to teach faith. many churches teach faith. But faith is caught because we see the results of faith. I love reading stories of what God has done in the lives of people. The stories I read of George Mueller made me WANT TO BELIEVE.

God is the ultimate teacher of faith. What He does is put you and I in positions where we get to use faith. If we do not have a need to manifest our faith than what could is faith? We learn to WALK by faith.

When people hear me speak of $11,000 electrical bill; $18,000 monthly food bill; $10,000 monthly medical bills for dialysis and etc they say “How do you believe or that much money?” Guess what? I did not wake up one day and had to trust God for $150,00  month. God out me in situations years ago where it was necessary to believe for $500 a week for our needs in Lake Charles. God wants you to grow in faith and GROWTH TAKES TIME!

But growth will bring you to the place where God wants you to be.
