Fruit Basket Turnover

Those who have come to Casa for years will find a surprise soon as we are switching Billy & Olga from Estrellitas to Doncillias with Oseas and Olga taking Estrellitas. Jim & Kate are moving to Esperanza with Alex and Sara going to Buen Pastor. Billy will begin helping Sebastian with the accounting and Sebastian will become sub-director helping Walter. Gladys will help in Angelitos. Often times change is like a breath of fresh air & we can all use fresh air.

Dottie and I are trying to begin Christmas shopping. We are cry late this year but we will stay at it. We had a team last week & have one this week that can help wrap gifts. The rest are doing a VBS, concrete work, building metal beds & building shelves so all are busy.

Paula and Emma will leave Tuesday for their home in Oklahoma.

God loves for His people to be whole. In I Thessalonians 5:23  “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”  When the Bible speaks of perfection and wholeness it is to let us know that God does not redeem just part of us. He makes you and me entirely whole.

What God does is He purges our minds, attitudes, thoughts and even our feelings. As I went to each house parent and simply laid out what I wanted to do each and everyone had the attitude of “Papi, whatever is best for the children”. Pride and ego destroy ministries but humility and willingness to serve will build a ministry.
