The elementary school had their end of the year church service.

Patty went to buy skirts & blouses for Christ for the older girls since it is difficult for me to do it this year.

Tony, Tim & I went & opened the special account for the hospital construction.

I met again with the high school teachers to attempt to calm the storm concerning changing from afternoon to morning. Their concerns about salaries are understandable & this is an administration responsibility I do not relish.

One of the great blessings of the soul is you do not have to perform. Having a soul tuned in to the things of God and on God Himself is all about being who you are before what you do. The world measures the outside. It is about talent, performance and accomplishments. But the soul is all about Fatherhood. It is all about spending time with your Heavenly Father in order to “become” not “perform”.

Many people say that Dottie and I will be rewarded for what has happened at Casa and the 5000 children who have come here. But God is not interested in what has happened. He is interested in WHAT I am. If I am not concerned about my performance than I can spend time BECOMING who God intended me to become.

I heard someone say “Doing Nothing is Doing a Lot” and I certainly can understand that. God created for 6 days and then RESTED. Americans do not seem to catch that truth. We need REST. We need to have time where we do nothing but re truly doing a lot. Spending time in a state of inactivity and letting God ash your soul will give you a longer life and will allow you to BECOME.

Resting in the Lord means your mind, will and body can be inactive. No struggle. Just pecs and tranquility with your Heavenly Father as you bask in His warmth and light.
