Out of the Old Into the New

Lasagna! Christmas with Lee & Candy
Lasagna!
Christmas with Lee & Candy

Angie returned from her home in Escatawpa. Mississippi. Her father buys candy & other small items to send to the children for Christmas every year. If anyone is within 75 miles of him & is willing to help get things to Guatemala(he will pay for the luggage) or get it to Debbie in Lake Charles simply email Angie or me here at Casa.

Tony set up a new printer that my sister, Virginia, sent me. I made radio shows through October, 2015. Why? Because His Word never changes. I love radio ministry and truly I believe that I trach myself much more than I teach the radio audiences in Louisiana-Texas.

Tim needs to fly to California Tuesday and his leg is not in good shape. And then he will go to Oklahoma & drive to Guatemala in a new vehicle that was given to Patty. Will need much prayer!!

“Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing…I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert”.  Isaiah 43:18-19

Here it is a new year again. Fifteen years ago on January 1, 2000 the world was supposed to go into a tail spin. People were expecting disasters. But they did not happen. It is amazing how the world waits for “THE END”.

If we are going to truly move into the new we have to walk out of the old. It is not as easy as it sounds. Getting victory over past mistakes, error, disappointments, traumas, betrayals and other negative events of the past is not easy. If it were we would all do it.

There are a number of kids here who have really messed up already in their short lives. Teaching them that they can be forgiven and walk away from their past is no easy chore. However if they are going to have future success they must walk away from the old things.

They must be convinced that they can receive the new things. They must believe they can defeat the strongholds in their lives. But not considering what has already happened to them is a difficult chore. But to go in to the blessings of the NEW we must walk out of the crippling affects of the OLD.
