Dedication #1

ytrSebastian took Edgar to Zacapa to get his prosthetic leg adjusted.

Antoni, son of Bubba & Sandra, began bleeding in his throat & will have surgery tomorrow. H has varicose veins in his throat & stomach.

Sindy 1, in dialysis, has not seen her mother & the courts ordered her to come to court today to meet with her. She did not show up so Sindy is very downcast.

Dottie & I wrapped the Christmas gifts for the dialysis children and went and placed them under the tree in their dorm (Genesis House).

Estephaney actually walked a few steps from her wheelchair & is speaking to us for the first time. But the physician says she must gain weight or it gets critical.

Adam took a number of our teams to minister on the other side of Cuatro Caminos.

In 2003 I was watching the LSU-Oklahoma national football championship game and as it ended I jumped as high into the air as I could and yelled “Tigers”. But, honestly, before I came down to the floor God spoke to me and said “You never leap and yell for me like that”. He put me in my place didn’t He?

Christian dedication is the giving over of our hearts and lives completely to Jesus. Being very honest with you there have been so many times over the decades where I saw myself as having a shallow attitude towards God as well as complacency, immaturity, unfaithfulness and worldly thinking. Really makes you want to read what I have to say! I know I have lived with less dedication to Christ than I want.

Romans 12:1-2 says ” I beseech you brethren, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the of renewing your mind that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God”.

I truly want to say “Here is my life Lord take all of it and use it for your glory”. I am so far from that being a reality so I am not where I should be but we will discuss dedication over the next few days.
