Adam & Vilma arrived yesterday & his dad, Jerry, came with them. So that will help us with the teams coming in.
We also received a box of pecs for plumbing & electrical 3-way wire so we are ready to get lots of work done. Also Tim ordered the paint for the 3rd floor.
Yesterday I wrote about perfection and I trust some of you thought about that. Our perfection is not yet finished. We will always be struggling with sin on this earth. Positionally in Christ we are perfect but practically in our flesh we are not perfect. So how does this work?
God sent the Holy Spirit to us at salvation to guide us and teach us and help us to resist temptation. You see how God begins the perfection process by sending His son to destroy sin and then sends the Holy Spirit to continue the work as we are heading towards heaven.
And when we get to heaven that perfection will be complete. Philippians1:6 “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ”. Hebrews 10:14 “By one sacrifice Jesus has made perfect FOREVER those who are made holy(saved)”.
Before we arrive in heaven we are to attempt to obey as much as we can. My actions and attitude will determine my character here on earth. We start as a spiritual baby then childhood then youth and adulthood. Perfection is in our eternal future.
