You are—You will be

My foot will not heal so now I am wearing a walking boot.

Bubba paid off his car of which I am so proud. (I had cosigned).

“You are Simon…you will be Cephas(Peter)”. These words are found in John 1:42. God always sees us not just as we are (You are) but He sees us as we shall be (You will be). I wonder what God sees in me? I wonder if God sees something else I will be.

Peter was not perfect when he first met Jesus and even until the end he never became perfect. But what he wasdid change. That is my hope for me and those I love.
