Humility
Aroldo is attending a nephrology symposium.
Andy & Jessica left this morning but Wes & Debbie are still here & speaking with the dorm parents, etc. The board meeting went well & there were some excellent ideas given so we feel it has been a positive & blessed week.
Before Jessica & Andy left the board had a short “Thank you” wrap up for the staff. Wes spoke of when Jesus washed the feet of the disciples and told them to serve in humility. It was perfect words for ending these meetings.

A Christian reveals true humility by showing the gentleness of Christ, by being always ready to help others, by speaking kind words and performing unselfish acts, which elevate and ennoble the most sacred message that has come to our world. (Ellen G. White)
Our staff works so hard and not many people truly appreciate what it costs them to live at Casa and care for someone else’s child. The word ‘humility’ means modesty, meekness and not thinking of yourself as better than others.
The ministry of Casa here in Guatemala has 133 employees so you can understand how important humility is for all of us. Working with the stress daily and being in such proximity to one another requires us to love, serve and respect one another.
