San Bartolome

There were blockades by soldiers in San Lucas and Chimaltenango Wednesday which kept us from going anywhere. The reason is the army has not been paid in months.

This prevents us from getting the sick kids scheduled for doctor visits in Guatemala from being able to make their appointments.

God says, “No one should seek their own good, but the good of others”. Mark 12:31 “Love your neighbor as yourself”.

Our village, San Bartolome, sent a team from the government to have a day of activities with our children. After all these years we still have a great relationship with the village administrators.

Estella’s team had ice cream for everyone. Cristi and Carrie had bingo with the younger boys in the morning and a movie for the girls in the evening.
