Horrible decision

I made a terrible decision in trying to take Dottie to the bathroom. I dropped her and she tore the top of her hand to the bone. Eleven stitches. It was a stupid decision on my part.

Guatemalan school finished the school year Thursday, so our kids are on vacation.

One dorm went to the swimming park yesterday.

Isaiah 7:9 says If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all. 

Corinthians 15:58 says, Stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord.

Every Christian and every Christian family will have the devil try to knock them off the purpose for which God has created them. You would think that after all the blessings and miracles we have seen here at Casa in Guatemala that we would easily be strong in the Lord. But to tell you the truth it is as much a battle everyday as it has ever been. The world has changed so much since we came to Guatemala in 1989 that I can hardly recognize the world in which we now live.
