Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving Day is a day to reflect on the blessings God has wrought over the years. 62 years ago, I met Dottie and 61 years ago we married.
Although our three natural children all died from heart disease we have been blessed with between 5000 and 6000 Guatemalan children the majority who have been saved, have jobs, families and attend church.
We have had thousands of visitors to Casa over the last 35 years and the reunion in heaven will be sweet.
Dottie and I have had good health for over 80 years and now we lovingly deal with her Hakim Adam syndrome and are trusting God for a miracle with 898 people contacting me to say that they are praying daily for her.
We have a wonderful staff here at Casa and Dottie and I have 5 children living with us to help care for Dottie and many, many children praying for her to have a miracle. She has health problems, and we have financial problems, but the Lord Jesus has never abandoned us in all these years.
Roxanna and her family stopped by to give Dottie flowers. Roxanna is on her way to graduation where she will receive her law degree this evening. I am so proud of her.
Jana´s team had a special Bible time last night with all the children.
Heidy cooked the turkey while Adela worked like she always does which is very hard and with much love. Tony and Lily came for dinner as did a few other guest.
Do you realize that God has two dwelling places? One in heaven and one in our hearts!
Your life will be greatly fulfilled if you rejoice in what you have. You and I need to give thanks also for the blessings on the way. I am most fulfilled when I am rejoicing at what I have.
God promises to fill all our needs, and we need a mountain of financial help. I am grateful to God for what I have and for what is about to come. Pray with me that God will double our population.
It is in God´s love I find strength. Thank you God for every breathe we take. Thank you God for giving us the strength to go on.
Happy Thanksgiving from Mike and Dottie
