With what happened in New Orleans and Las Vegas I had a heavy night. The world is truly out of control and instead of love governing relations between both people and nations we have hatred in every form.

The Lord kept saying to me last night ¨My Word¨. Only obedience to the Word of God can get us where we need to be.

I jotted down 7 purposes of the Bible and will share one each day with you. We must get back to the Bible. 41% of Americans believe the Bible is the Word of God. Only 11% read the Bible daily.

The first purpose of the Bible is to provide a foundation of our faith. Romans 10:17 says ¨So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God¨.

We cannot resist the devil as a nation unless Christians read the Bible and apply it daily. Without the Word of God we stand on sinking sand. The world today is not the world I grew up in. Pray!
