Don´t run
Brother Jerry has been such a blessing and finished so many needed odd jobs. I was visited by Pastor Teddie from Grand Bay, Alabama. His daughter has a wonderful ministry in Chimaltenango.
The other night we had a 5.9-point earthquake. Some kids sleeping around the water towers went running outside. No one was hurt and there was no damage.
Last night was the third time this week Dottie made sleeping difficult. She throws all the cover off the bed then she laughs at me. I go back to sleep, and she does it again. I know she does not realize what she is doing.
The second point I want to make concerning us being referred by God as sheep is that sheep are defenseless. They run! John 10:11 says, Ï am the good Shepherd: the good Shepherd gives his life for the sheep¨.
I want you to understand that the older I get the more I realize that without Christ I would be a loser in life. I cannot defend myself. I need Him. The only defense a sheep has is to run away. Left to myself I will lose. Over the years there have been times I wanted to run. But if I abandon my fellow sheep, I would be a failure as a child of God.
